  3. Investigational  Postoperative interferon and IL-2 are being evaluated.

  5. Stage III 
  6. TNM T3b, N1-3, M0 
  7. The tumor invades the renal vein (T3b, N0, M0), the inferior vena cava   (T3b) or regional lymph nodes (T3b, N1-3, M0).
  8.     Approximately 25 to 35 percent of cases are found in Stage III, 60 percent of whom will have micrometastases found at the time of surgery.

  10. Standard Treatment  Radical nephrectomy.

  12. Five-Year Survival  30 to 45 percent
